The Differences of TOEFL and TOEIC
TOEFL stands for Test of Home as a Foreign Language. This is a test of English as a foreign language. These tests test the ability of a person to the extent to which mastery of English that includes the ability: Listening Comprehension (Comprehension in listening), Structure and Written Exxpression (Structure and expression in writing relating to the Home Grammar or Grammar English (Reading Comprehension (Reading Comprehension), and Writing (Writing).
TOEFL, GRE, SAT and TOEIC is a test products issued by ETS (Educational Testing Service) based in the U.S. and has been operating for more than 40 years.

The ability of any tested in TOEFL test?
There are three parts of the TOEFL test to be done by test participants. TOEIC

This section consists of 100 questions and is divided into four sections. Test participants heard a recording of statements, questions, short conversations, and a brief explanation, then answer questions based on segments of hearing. The Listening section takes approximately 45 minutes.

• Part II: Reading

Participants answered questions by marking one of the letters (A), (B), (C), (D) with a pencil on the answer to a separate valley. Although the actual testing time is approximately two hours of extra time it takes participants to complete the biographical questions on the answer sheet and respond to a brief questionnaire about their education and work history.
What are the contents of the TOEIC test?
TOEIC test is designed to meet the needs of the working world. Test questions are developed from examples of spoken and written language collected from various countries around the world where English is used in the workplace. Test questions and the atmosphere contains many different situations, such as:
• Personnel - receiving, hiring, pension, salaries, promotions, job applications, advertising.
• Purchasing - shopping, ordering supplies, deliveries, invoices
• Technical areas - electronics, technology, specifications, buying and renting, electric and gas service.
• Travel - trains, planes, taxis, buses, ships, ferries, tickets, schedules, announcements stations and airports, car rental, hotel, reservations, delays and delays.
• Dining out - business and informal lunches, banquets, receptions, restaurant reservations.
• Entertainment - cinema, theater, music, art, media
• Health-medical insurance, visiting doctors, dentists, clinics and hospitals.
• General business - contracts, negotiations, marketing, sales, business planning, conferences.

Marak nya Fenomena "Seven Eleven" di Jakarta
Seperti biasa gue nge cek ke wikipedia terlebih dahulu untuk mencari "arti" dari seven eleven yang sesungguhnya. Nah disana gue mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa seven eleven adalah sebuah toko klontong 24 jam asal Amerika Serikat yang sejak tahun 2005 kepemilikannya dipegang Seven & I Holdings Co., sebuah perusahaan Jepang. Terus kenapa diberi nama seven eleven? Ternyata sebelum toko 24 jam pertama dibuka di Austin, Texas pada tahun 1962, 7-Eleven buka dari jam 7 pagi hingga 11 malam. Makanya diberi nama Seven Eleven atau 711 yang maksudnya buka jam 7-11. Kreatif ya orang yang ngasih nama.
Nah mulai sekitar tahun 2009 seven eleven (abis ini ngetik nya 711 aja ah kepanjangan kalo ngetik seven eleven) masuk ke Jakarta. Gerai pertama yang gue tau tuh adanya di mahakam deket kfc. Itu juga gue baru sekali kesana. Dan itu juga masih ga terlalu rame. Ga kaya sekarang setiap di 711 pasti ada minimal 10 orang yg nongkrong. Kalo pas jam jam rame yg nongkrong bisa nyampe 100.000 orang!! Hhahahahha kaga itu gue lebay doang. Paling sekitar 30-50 orang deh. Tapi kayanya lebay jg ye banyak banget yg nongkrong.
Tapi heran ga sih kenapa banyak banget orang yg nongkrong disana? Coba bandingin kalo 711 di Jepang tuh "hanya" seperti indomaret, alfamart atau yomart di Indonesia. Tapi mengapa 711 disini begitu wah?? Dibawah ini gambar 711 di Jepang.
Lihat hanya seperti minimarket biasa yg menjual berbagai macam kebutuhan sehari-hari. Tidak ada tempat duduk buat nongkrong diluar dan tidak ada yg menongkrong (aneh banget bahasa gue menongkrong).
Bandingkan dengan salah satu 711 di Jakarta.
Apa yg terlintas dibenak Anda setelah melihat gambar diatas? Besar, ramai, heboh! 711 di Jakarta memang memiliki bangunan yg lumayan besar. Banyak tempat duduk diluar, di dalam juga ada. Lalu banyak pula orang-orang yg menongkrong. Lihat banyak anak muda yg duduk duduk di ubin di kanan gambar, itu karena dia rela duduk berlama-lama disana sembari mengobrol dan memakan makanan yg dijual di 711. Makanan apa saja sih yang menjadi ciri khas dari 711?
1. Slurpe, minuman es parut bersoda yang sangat dingin sehingga katanya bisa membekukan otak! Lebay yee. Ini minuman banyak banget yang beli. Hanya dengan Rp. 6000 Anda sudah dapat membawa pulang minuman ini dengan ukuran kecil.
2. Gulp, minuman bersoda seperti coca cola, pepsi, fanta, mirinda dll deh.
3. Big Bite, hot dog khas 711. Rasanya enak dan kita bisa ngambil saus dan keju sepuasnyaaa. Ini dia yang bikin gue sering banget dateng ke 711. Harganya ga lebih dari Rp. 20000 boss!!

Masih banyak produk-produk makanan yang dijual oleh 711. Ketiga produk tadi menurut saya merupakan "senjata utama" untuk menarik banyak pembeli. Selain itu manajemen 711 di Indonesia cukup pintar dalam mencari keuntungan. Budaya orang-orang Indonesia yang suka nongkrong dan ngobrol ngalur ngidul di imbangi dengan dibuatnya gerai gerai 711 yang nyaman dan makanan yang enak sehingga bukan tidak mungkin gerai 711 di Jakarta akan bertambah banyak lagi dan mengalahkan circle k yang sudah lebih dahulu ada di Indonesia. Tapi 711 tidak akan mengalahkan minimarket seperti indomaret, alfamart dan yomart karena pemerintah Indonesia terus mengawasi 711 agar tidak berubah menjadi minimarket karena menurut undang-undang kepemilikan waralaba minimarket harus dari pihak lokal.
Mau nongkrong di 711, berikut ini daftar 711 yg ada di Jakarta yang baru saya ketahui hehehe yang lainnya menyusul.
